The SG50 Journey App is a specialcommemorative app which aggregates some of the trails created underthe National i-Trail Challenge (NiTC) as well as the Ministry ofEducation's mySG Trails and Exhibitions programme.The inaugural National i-Trail Challenge (NiTC) was organised in2012. Aimed at students from Primary 4 upwards, groups of studentswere challenged to use a simple web-based learning trail designapplication to create digital learning trails about Singapore.Organized around a different overarching theme each year, the NiTChas reached out to more than 110 schools. Over 100 Communityi-Trails and over 220 Heritage i-Trails have been created bystudents for the public. The Leadership Trail App is a collectiveeffortof students and teachers from 7 secondary schools toshowcase theexciting leadership journey of prominent leaders whoare connectedto these schools. The aim of this app is to provideinspiration foryouths in Singapore through the scenarios presentedin the app.Users will be able to identify key leadershipprinciples and applythem in their personal leadership journey, tobe active advocates ofchange. The leadership principles are taughtthrough stories, videosand quizzes found in each trail of the app.As users enter the app,they will be able to see 3 distinctivecategories of leadership:Self-Leadership, OrganisationalLeadership and Community Leadership.Within each category are thevarious leadership trails of thefeatured leaders.
